Indian evangelist. That's all in the article. Radiant! 12:39, Feb 28, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. He gets 1,740 hits [1] but I can't find anything that makes him sound famous or important. Kappa 13:50, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Delete - okay, he writes about computer stuff. I might have been more forgiving had the article contained a verb. -- Cyrius|✎ 00:36, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, just under the bar of notability. Megan1967 04:00, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- It seems as if not all the Google hits are about him. Checking some of those that seem to be, I find nothing bringing him even close to notability. The fact that the user has added himself to 7_May#Births, alongside Johannes Brahms, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Gary Cooper, does not make me any less sceptical of his achievements. Delete. / Alarm 18:06, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Writing one article for the IndiaTimes media group does not make one notable. -- Brhaspati (talk, contribs) 05:32, 2005 Mar 2 (UTC)
- Do Not Delete. He is a budding evangelist. Give him a chance folks !
- The above is the first edit by 203.146.9.27.
- If he's budding, he should come back when he's matured. Delete. Radiant! 08:50, Mar 2, 2005 (UTC)
- Do Not Delete. How can he ever come back when you guys dont never give him a chance ? I can find 4 places when he has worked notably a)Network Security b) TCP/IP details c)Web Architectures d)Photography
- Above edit by 203.200.201.2, with a total of less than 25 edits, several of them to the Ganesh Krishnan article. Comment to the above: Thanks for contributing this information to the Ganesh Krishnan article. Please note, however, that this is an encyclopedia, and that appeals to "give somebody a chance" will not be considered a reason to include someone. Also, being a "network Specialist for TCP/IP & Security" is not notable in itself, in the sense Wikipedia defines the word. Being the person behind an important invention, a much used computer programme or a published book might help. Also, any such claims should include sources, so the information can be verified. The same goes for being a "well known photographer". Can you provide any information (e.g. a link to an article in a major newspaper or magazine, or to a photographic gallery) to back this up? / Alarm 13:33, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Deletion Unecessary. He is Network Specialist and Played the First chess computer simulation against Anand.
- Above edit, and an edit to this page's Talk page, are User:Xsspider's first edits. Comment to the above: The article says India's first chess computer simulation. In my opinion, this in itself is probably not enough to be notable, but it might suffice for others. However, it would probably help your case if you provided a verifiable source to this information. Oh, and if you should happen to be the same person as the other two anonymous users above, please note that this is a voting page, and that you're only allowed to vote once. If you want to add counterarguments, do as I do now, with "Comment" in bold, but do not repeat "Do not delete" or similar statements several times (especially not in bold), as this will be percieved as trying to cheat. / Alarm 13:33, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Not notable. utcursch | talk 12:35, Mar 4, 2005 (UTC)
