Talk:Veteran train
Appearance
This is a term not used in English. We are not in the business of inventing new terminology. A google for "veteran train" returns only 176 results, most of which are not relevant. I suspect that someone is translating from another language here, based on their use of English in the article. —Morven 18:31, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Keep as redirect to restored trains. I think the topic is valuable, just poorly titled. I put an edited and expanded version of the contents at restored trains. Niteowlneils 19:28, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Keep as redirect, it's a term used in Australian English (and I'd suspect elsewhere) as is heritage train which I've created as another useful redirect. Andrewa 20:35, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- never heard the term myself! --Erich gasboy 08:15, 27 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- The redirect can't hurt, I guess, though Google tells me that this usage is fairly rare. —Morven 22:06, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)
