one of the first
[edit]- And who was the first? A natural question to have it answered in a See Also. Mikkalai 04:01, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Strictly speaking, the American NC-4 was the first (May 1919), and Alcock and Brown's Vickers Vimy aircraft made the first non-stop flight (June 1919). If you want to integrate this into the article, be my guest. All this info is in the Atlantic Ocean article which is linked btw. -Lommer 06:46, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
How do others feel about the newly added diagram of the S.55? I personally find it cartoonish and think it actually detracts from the article. I do think it has a good perspective of the plane, and I will try to find another image that might serve as a replacement, but I would actually lean towards removing this picture from the article. -Lommer 06:46, 7 Dec 2004 (UTC)
