As WikiCast is a wiki, you are welcome to propose your own format, and get feedback. In fact it's preferable if you did, so that you are not constrained by any pre-concived ideas I have :-)
My rough idea in respect of 2) was to keep it at a general level, ie not 'hard' math like a calculus course would be.
However I look forward to seeing your ideas :-) ShakespeareFan00 00:02, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Your edit to House of Leaves
[edit]Is this version of the entry more accurate? (You can see the difference here.) I don't know much about Norse mythology, so I really don't if these statements are accurate. I just think that, if those 3 gods did lose those specific body parts (through sacrifice or not), it should probably be mentioned in the article. If they're not accurate, please feel free to remove the passage again. :) Thank you! Wyatt Riot 13:42, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- Wow! That one comment made me want to read more Norse mythology, now I just have to fit it in with everything else I want to read! :) I hope that, with the overt references already listed, there may be more that you'll discover. Thank you! Wyatt Riot 23:12, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
wikibreak
[edit]Thanks for your message while I was on break. Don't worry, I am not going to leave Wikipedia any time soon. Here's what I wrote about leaving more than a year ago. Nice to hear from you, NoSeptember 00:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi there
[edit]I saw your vote on the Wolpo Afd. Fair use rationale for Image:JohnnyCashAmericanIIISolitaryMan.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:JohnnyCashAmericanIIISolitaryMan.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Amazon
[edit]I've asked a question at Talk:Amazon (disambiguation) that you might be able to answer since you changed the redirect. Why does Amazon redirect to Amazons rather than Amazon (disambiguation) Surely the world's largest river, the world's largest rainforest and a huge multi national company are all equally as notable as the ancient legendary people? Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Possible example on Stable sorting
[edit]Would you be interested giving opinions or suggestions on a stable sorting example page I'm constructing. A first draft is over Talk:Sorting_algorithm#How_is_this_stable_sort_example?
Also a newer, evolving, example is found in my sandbox at: User:Lent/sandbox .
And out of curiosity, did you know that a Shift-click on a Wikipedia sortable table column does a secondary sort?
Thanks! --Lent (talk) 11:31, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
