Thanks for the message. I was also thinking about this, and I understand your concern. I'll try to go through the links tonight. They can still be found by doing "What links here" either at Divine or at Divinity and see which ones redirect via Divine. Thanks again for your message, and I'll let you know about the progress of sifting through these. EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 04:42, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'll see how many I can get through tonight. I'll probably be able to finish them up. I'm somewhat tempted to send those that discuss Anglican terminology to Divine (disambiguation) instead, since it says the same thing and is easier to sift through. However, that probably counteracts the goal of the entire project. :o) EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 04:53, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- Update: I got through all the links to Divine tonight. As you can tell if you peek at my contributions, there were a decent amount that had to be fixed, mostly to Anglican terminology. One problem I had was that I discovered there is another band called Divine [1] which I've added to the dab page. This only had one or two links for it, such as List of celebrities who have made a guest appearance on Nickelodeon shows. The other major problem was at List of electronic music artists and DJs, trying to decide if this was the band I just mentioned, or Divine (Glen Milstead). I changed my mind 3 times, and I still think I may have gotten it wrong, based on the information at Hi-NRG. I'd appreciate if you'd take a peek at this, and if you feel I got it wrong again, please switch it back.
- Thanks again for sending me a message. I've done quite a bit of disambiguation link repair, but this is the first one I've done that resulted in changing the dab page. Obviously I forgot the most important part, which is to fix the links. Thanks for pointing out that mistake, and always feel free in the future to send me a message. The Modoc page has been needing more information for a long time now - thank you for doing a great job adding historical background, with citations! --JustinHall 22:55, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Re: Ethnic Chinese/Chinese race
[edit]Yes Han Chinese is frequently called ethnic Chinese or Chinese race, or simply Chinese, that's not the case the other way round. By saying ethnic Chinese, Chinese race or Chinese, people may be referring to the broader concept of the word Chinese that includes non-Han peoples. — Instantnood 21:54, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Boswil
[edit]Your bot has converted the link to canton to canton (subnational entity), which is definitely an improvement, but it could be more specific: in this case cantons of Switzerland, and in some others canton in France. These don't appear on the canton disambig page, but they're listed under canton (subnational entity). Colonies Chris 10:32, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]I just wanted to say thank you for what you do on wikipedia. I know disambious link repair is kind of a behind the scenes job that doesnt have all the laudations as one who creates articles, but it is definitally a necessity. Thanks and keep up the good work!--Gephart 20:39, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
What is on this classification wrong or incorrect?
|related=Indo-Europeans
Slavs
East Slavs
--lorn10 17:48, 13. May 2006 (CET)
I am not sure what you recognize exactly under “source”. The following article has for instance a much more extremely “starting point”.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_%28people%29#Indo-Europeans
There is talking about some “racial” relations. However, I will never support such extreme views. As mentioned before, this shows the deeper contradiction in this whole topic. It seems that there is no clear definition about the meaning of Proto-Indo-Europeans and Indo-Europeans. Sometimes, and in the English area very often, these are used as synonyms.
However, I see absolutely no reason, which supports your changes on the “related ethnic group” classification. For me there is now missing one very important information. --lorn10 12:57, 21. May 2006 (CET)
Template:Roman
[edit]Yes, this is a very useful improvement on my template - please be bold and replace it. Just one point - shouldn't 4000 appears as MV rather than MMMM? Warofdreams talk 12:48, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I've done a quick Google, which turns up some proponents of MV format, but most argue that plain text should never appear to the left of overlined text - so MMMM seems to be correct. Warofdreams talk 13:15, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
convex
[edit]You call that disambiguating? I guess I'll link them to convex set. —Tamfang 03:42, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see your point. —Tamfang 06:37, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
East German Mark
[edit]Thank you for translating East German Mark from the German wiki. Have you thought about making a table like the ones on Polish coins and banknotes. I am working on standardizing tables across all currencies. You can help! --Chochopk 19:27, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

If you are not a member, please consider including your name on the project page. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 22:54, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest
[edit]I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 02:20, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Article solely a list sourced from two primary sources for the awards. Absolutely no encyclopedic value as it is simply a duplication of the webpage for the awards themselves.
