Talk:Two Trees
There's another article on the same topic at Two Trees of Valinor. They need to be merged. Which should be kept and which should be the redirect? (Personally, I would keep "Two Trees of Valinor", as just "Two Trees" could really refer to just about anything. But "Two Trees" is older and should perhaps have precedence.)
There is actual concrete evidence for the theory that the light of the Two Trees does not behave like "normal" light, considering that it fell from the trees in the form of dew and was stored in vats. This is all in The Silmarillion. Aranel 18:09, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- The longer name, I think. I have a vague memory of a real-world place in the western US called "Two Trees", and the longer name makes it clearly in the Tolkien department. Stan 21:02, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
