Although your site is a wonderful source, your Bio on Eddie Condon is not quite accurate with regards to Condon's first jazz club. Eddie Condon's first club was located on 3rd street in Greenwich Village, spent many a time there in the 1950's. The 3rd street club was less formal than his later uptown locations and, less costly for the college crowd. The move uptown lost the casual atmosphere but possibly gained a more sophisticated deeper pocketed clientele.
