Class

The Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships lists Ellet as a Gridley class destroyer. However other sources clearly indicate that she was a Benham-class, including the photo page of the Naval Historical Center. Please update the class type only if you have definitive evidence other than DANFS. Jinian 19:52, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
