Disco is a twenty-two year old male currently residing in Preston, about thirty miles away from both Manchester and Liverpool in England. His internet nickname is a contraction of 'Your Disco Needs You', a song by the popular music artist, Kylie Minogue.

His main fascinations include popular culture. Indeed, his passion for popular culture has lead him to create a site about Reality TV in the United Kingdom, especially concentrating on Big Brother. He is particulary interested in how popular culture and society are inter-related, and is thus intrigued as to how some music genres and television programmes transcend barriers of class, percieved racial differences, age and gender yet the audience of others are based firmly in one social group.
