Isn't there a list of these in Wisden somewhere? jguk 08:39, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Yes, there is, but I can't find it. On a separate matter, is it correct to have this page where it currently is? Would it not be better to have it at List of test cricket families? And Shane Lee hasn't played Tests, I think. Smoddy (t) (e) 17:28, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Did Ben & Adam Hollioke (sp?) play in a test match? Nichalp 18:33, Mar 3, 2005 (UTC)

Yes. Final Test, 1997 Ashes series. Adam played in more – I believe Ben also played in Murali's Test the following year. Smoddy (t) (e) 18:47, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • Thanks for your comments. Moved to List of Test cricket families (with redirect). Added Hollioake and removed Lee (Shane did not play in a test - my error). - Ianbrown 00:49, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)

More families

[edit]

I believe that Kenya and Bangladesh do have lots of brothers and cousins. I can't recall the names at the moment. :( Yeah, Namibia too had the Burger brothers (and another sibling pair) but I've forgotten the names. Nichalp 19:04, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

See the cricinfo link on the page for Test relations - there are lots, many more than mentioned here! There is also a comprehensive list of Test families in Wisden, if you have a copy. If you include ODIs, I'm sure the list will be very long. -- ALoan (Talk) 19:45, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Twenty20?

[edit]

This list was started before T20 was around. Propose moving to List of International cricketers' families (is my apostrophe right?) and changing lead accordingly. Opposed to inclusion of U19 players though as that may open the door a bit wide. Any comments? –Moondyne 00:22, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:LIST

[edit]

This article fails the criteria for stand alone lists of having a clearly defined inclusion criteria. Active Banana (bananaphone 13:43, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The inclusion criteria is very clear: Cricketers related by family who have played Test, ODI or T20 matches. I don't know how to make it any plainer. –Moondyne 08:47, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article name

[edit]

Perhaps this article's name could be changed to "List of international cricketers who are related" or "List of related international cricketers", which could then be divided into categories such as Father/Son, Brothers, Brothers-in-law, etc. I don't think just two cousins or even two brothers could be called a "cricket family".
