Image copyrights
[edit]Hi there,
I see that a number of images you have uploaded are copyrighted (e.g. Image:TA4SU.jpg and Image:TA4SU2.jpg - "Copyright Horizon ModelTech 2002"; Image:Image:A4SU.jpg - "(c) Nick Challoner"; Image:RSAF-F16D.jpg - "(c) Peter Steehouwer").
Unless these images are released under the GFDL or some other license compatible with the Wikipedia, they will have to be deleted. I suggest you don't upload any more images until you've read Wikipedia:Copyrights, particularly the Contributors' rights and obligations section, and understand what is and is not legal for us to use. —Stormie 06:43, Sep 27, 2004 (UTC)
Info on image, please
[edit]Please go to Image:Bronco.jpg and edit that image description page to give the source (URL, if online; ISBN, if scanned from a book; and if you've taken the image yourself, just say so) and the licensing status (the list of image copyright tags might be useful) of this image. All our images should have this information; images without source or license info will be deleted after seven days. Thank you. Lupo 11:43, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Also, Image:Jurong construct111.jpg needs source and copyright info. —Stormie 04:28, Sep 29, 2004 (UTC)
You have uploaded many images which have been found to be copyright violations; a number have already been deleted. I hope you now understand the importance of Wikipedia:Copyrights. Please comment on any images with proper permission, public domain, or GFDL licencing, and please remove any copyrighted images you uploaded from the articles they appear on. Please reply; if there is no response, it may be assumed that it is safest to delete all of the images you have uploaded. -- Infrogmation
See above for Image:RSAF-F16CD.jpg. -- [[User:Solitude|Solitude\talk]] 13:06, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)
