[edit]As award inferno is so popular? much more than Inferno operating system? -- Taku Insert non-formatted text here
I don't know
This page is missing any reference to Dante's Inferno, somebody should probably add that...
Inferno an absinth based cocktail?
Original to Christianity or pagan in origin (like Hades)?
[edit]The "infernus" of early Christian Latin, was that term used by pagan Romans to mean the abode of the dead? Or is it a phrasing original to Christianity? When Latin documents from the pre-schism church say "infernus," what do the Greek-language texts say? Gehenna? Hades? Jonathan Tweet 01:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Inferno, the unit
[edit]To whomsoever it may concern! Sir, I have given the link which ascribes the astrophysical unit inferno, which is equal to 1 billion kelvin <http://encyclopedia.farlex.com/inferno>. It is not a made-up unit. பரிதிமதி (talk) 15:22, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, the link is for subscribers only, so I can't read it. Have you got another reliable source for this fact? StAnselm (talk) 11:51, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- I certainly can't find it in any reliable sources, only in pages copied from Wikipedia. -- Radagast3 (talk) 15:21, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
