The result of the debate was delete. Rossami (talk) 03:30, 28 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Proposed for deletion because the title is lousy, the article is essentially content free, and I can find no evidence anywhere that this phrase is a traditional greeting anywhere in the world. The phrase returned no hits at Google. And before anybody yells at me for wasting VFD's time (and yes, I recognize this is essentially a waste of time), it doesn't fit any speedy deletion categories. Trust me, I tried to find one. Jwrosenzweig 22:58, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Delete, actually it could probably be speedied as a user test, it's so trivial and empty. Wyss 00:20, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Interesting point. I'd argue that the intention of the "test" section of speedy delete policy is to allow the deletion of an article that says "Does this really end up on the web site?" or "I'd like to know more about TOPIC X and don't know why there's no article here." -- that is, something that clearly isn't gibberish or vandalism, but also clearly isn't someone intending to write an article. I don't see that this article can be considered anything but an actual attempt to write an article. It is definitely worth considering, though. Jwrosenzweig 00:23, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Even if the one sentence is verifiable, it could be added to tea. No need for a separate article, and certainly not under an ALL CAPS name. Jonathunder 00:28, 2005 Mar 9 (UTC)
- Delete, trivial, not encyclopaedic. Megan1967 03:18, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Delete, Do all phrases deserve wikipedia entries? MicahMN | Talk 03:32, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. This phrase is a (rough) translation of another language. This (roughly translated) is often used as a greeting, but it's not the only greeting, nor is it the most common greeting. Phrases aren't inherently notable to be kept, certainly not one that is a rough translation of a foreign phrase that isn't the most common greeting, in all caps, with an exclamation mark. --Deathphoenix 18:26, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- AND NO CAPS LOCK ALLOWED! DELETE xD --Andylkl 19:29, Mar 11, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, since there's too little text to establish context and go off and research what might be behind it. Kim Bruning 01:17, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
