FAC issues
[edit]This article was promoted nearly ten years ago to FA status, and oh boy is it showing it's age. There are numerous FA issues that can easily warrant an FAR if not fixed quickly. I haven't even read the article in depth and yet I already see some serious issues:
- The lead doesn't mention anything about the gameplay. The lead also mentions several trivial statements like "It was the first game in the series to feature only three player characters, an all-female main cast, and early access to most of the game's locations."
- The gameplay section has a grand total of 4 refs for such a large section. Any article nominated for FAC nowadays with an unsourced section like that would immediately by closed.
- The setting section seems rather long. Same with the story section, since it has over 1,000 words, and what appears to be an unnecessary screenshot at the end
- In contrast, the development section seems somewhat small. Obviously if there isn't enough info on the development then that's fine, but I did find this GamesRadar interview that looks like it has some more information. I will say though, I do see some 2014 refs in the development section, so at least there has been some maintenance
- Versions and merchandise has two uncensored paragraphs
- The reception section just looks messy
I'm sure I'll find more issues if I were to read in depth each section, but if I could discern those issues without having to read more than a few sentences, then this article is in desperate need of some maintenance. Famous Hobo (talk) 05:45, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
- I tried trimming the plot section as much as possible, but I don't know if it's enough.Tintor2 (talk) 22:25, 3 August 2016 (UTC)
- I think it's good now (as far as length goes); I've trimmed Setting down as well, and sourced the merchandise paragraphs. --PresN 15:00, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Also added that source to development. --PresN 19:22, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, good work guys, nice collaborative effort. The plot is currently under 700 words, which is great. However, before I can feel comfortable calling this FA, the gameplay section needs to be sourced. Also, the end of the music section is missing sources. After those have been dealt with, I'll take a closer look and reread through the article. Famous Hobo (talk) 20:59, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yep yep, still need to rework gameplay and reception and touch up music; just keeping everyone updated. Trying to do a bit every day or two, we'll get there. --PresN 21:12, 4 August 2016 (UTC)

- Sorry, things got busy and this slipped my mind. Will get back to this. --PresN 13:29, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- @PresN: I see you've been tinkering with this one. If you could do some more and we could mainpage it that'd be amazingly cool. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 20:19, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
