I am making edits to the term Crush Dressing with Diamond. Diamond Dressing rolls are not recommended to be run in the crush condition or running t the same speed as the grinding wheel. I am also adding a new section about Wheel conditioning where I will elaborate on how proper wheel condition is critical to grinding--Bella1701 (talk) 16:29, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Two faults I see after creating this, it's at risk of becoming a mini tutorial, eg:- I had the following but removed it.

Sparks will be inevitable when using a grinding dresser, but the object of the exercise is to create dust (old abrasive particles) not to produce sparks (resulting in rapid wear on the dressing tool) which takes some of the edge off, but as for the remainder?

It also duplicates material I put in grinding wheels. — Comments?

For the record, the following was moved from the first revision of bench grinder

Wood should never be ground on a wheel, as it can clog it up and cause the wheel to burst, with painful results.
