Talk:Translation process
The description of this process is not complete without specifying the type of constraints that govern your translation work.
Typically, you have various types of texts, and within each type a number of items to translate, each with a number of constraints to handle.
For example:
free-floating text: body and title
poems rhyming: fixed syllable, rhytm, etc.
patents:
scientific study: terminology measurements units other conversion
source code display screens program manuals
art criticism:
etc.
Now the end prodcut of the translation will be assessed according to the level of meeting the criteria for producing equivalent mutation in L2 of the original input. And compliance will vary according to criteria applied/discarded.
