It says that austin has a population of about 1,370 in this article. This is false the 2000 census said that Austin had a population of greater than 23,000. (unsigned comment by anon 207.177.2.7 )
- The population of a township (at least on Wikipedia) does not include the population of incorporated areas within that township. But yes, you're right, the city of Austin, Minnesota (located in Austin & Lansing townships) has 23,000+ people.--Hraefen 02:35, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
