I'm torn between outright deletion and conversion to a redirect to GameCube 2, which Google searching suggests is by far the more popular term used to refer to it. I don't know whether "Nintendo 256" is being used widely enough that a redirect is worthwhile or not... IMSoP 00:06, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Delete. AFAIK, it's used as a stand-in name for a "maybe someday" Nintendo console that originated in the N64 days (like as if someone were to talk about the Xbox 3 today). Mentioned on Usenet 1995. --Mrwojo 20:37, 4 Apr 2004 (UTC)
