I just removed a line, and I wanted to explain why. It is a line under Peronsal Life/Marriage and family. It is a line that reads, "They raised three children, Ronnie, David, and Terri, with traditional values." I removed "with traditional values, because the phrase is at once vague, possibly polemical in our current climate, and at worse a dog whistle. In addition, the two sources cited demonstrate bias. RCA Victor was his employer of over 40 years and cannot be counted on to provide a disinterested view of Como's life, when necessary. Their interest is in maintaining Como's image. The other is from the Tuscaloosa News, which is an overly flattering piece - so much so that it cannot be counted on to have any interest in striving for a neutral take on Como.
