[edit]I am researching a Percy H WYNDHAM, born 1833 died 1879, the son of Charles Wyndham who was an ilegitimate son of George O'Brien Wyndham. Charles is described by some historians as "Lord leconfield". How is that possible ?
- Yes he was an illegitimate son of the last Earl of Egremont but it was George Wyndham who was created Baron Leconfield in 1859 in his own right. In fact his father had four illegitimate children (including Charles and George) by the time he married their mother in 1801. Craigy (talk) 03:13, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
