Talk:Voice registers
I feel that this article confuses registers (a definition of mechanics) with the resulting sounds in particular vocal ranges by means of combination of the registers. I don't know how to fix this article without throwing it overboard completely. And what is a guide to finding one's voice doing in an article about voice registers?divadiane 03:32, 4 Jun 2004 (UTC)
The definitions I used are supported by:
http://www.vocalist.org.uk/voice_registers.html
http://www.voicefoundation.org/library/voiceproduction.pdf
..and others. They are also consistent with my own vocal training. I claim no other authority for them.
You are obviously free to change the article in any way you like; but I would caution against making it inaccessible in the process.
As to "finding one's voice" why not? The reader will inevitably want to listen for these sounds in their own voice.
